OOCL to raise trans-Atlantic eastbound rates from February
HONG Kong-headquartered Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is to raise its general rate for cargo of eastbound traffic from the United States and Canada by US$100 per TEU, $200 per FEU and 45 foot container, effective February 1, 2014.
The freight rate will apply to dry cargo shipments on trans-Atlantic trade in response to declining revenue, said a company statement.
