CHINA State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) has changed its order at Jiangnan Changxing Heavy Industry yards from a series of three 16,000-TEU ships to 18,000 TEUers, the same as the largest boxships being built across the Yellow Sea in Korea.
The vessels are due for delivery mid-2015 and will be chartered to CMA CGM, reported SinoShipNews. Jiangnan Changxing Heavy Industry belongs to Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, which is part of the CSSC conglomerate.
