    'K' Line increases intra-Asia coverage with Hanjin Heung-A tie-up

    JAPAN's "K" LINE is to launch a new weekly sailing to its Jaseco-K service between Korea, Philippines and Indonesia as a slot operator on Korean carriers Hanjinand Heung-A Shipping Company's service also called the Korea-Philippines-Indonesia Express (KPI).

    "K" Line aims to expand coverage to and from Korea and the Malacca Straits, reports Paris-based Alphaliner adding that the expansion starts with the first sailing of the City of Shanghai from Xingang on November 7.

     

    The port rotation will be Xingang, Pyeongtaek, Busan, Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Busan, Incheon and back to Xingang.

     

    The coverage adds to its recent Jaseco-J service from north east Asia to south east Asia as a slot operator on Cheng Lie and Evergreen's CN1.
