EASTERN China's Ningbo port recorded an 14.7 per cent first half increase year on year to over 1.3 million TEU the first time, up to 1.368 million TEU, setting up a new record, reports Xinhua.
Ningbo port handled containers of 8.45 million TEU, up 14 per cent. Its cargo throughout has reached a total of 248 million tonnes, an increase of 9.3 per cent, including foreign trade throughput of 134.5 million tonnes with an increase of 14 per cent.
