APL Logistics has extended its Middle East footprint following the appointment of two agencies in the region, namely, the Iraq Transcontinental Shipping Co and the Kuwait Transcontinental Shipping Co.
Customers in industries such as automotive, retail, apparel, electronics, high-tech, consumer packaged goods, consumer durables, heavy equipment and industrial will be able to tap the company's services through the appointed agencies' offices in Basrah, Bagdad and Umm Qasr in Iraq as well as Ardiya in Kuwait.
The full range of services will be offered, including supply chain design, engineering, international logistics, warehousing, domestic distribution, project cargo solutions and IT solutions.
"The agency arrangement supplements our existing office network across United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and multiple other locations across the African continent," said APL Logistics Mideast chief Joseph Lee.
