SOUTHEAST China's Fujian province plans to invest CNY31.4 billion (US$4.86 billion) in upgrading two national highways, the G104 and the G205, reports Xinhua.
The plan includes building 25 projects comprising 592 kilometres of class II highway. The 331-kilometre G104 will cost CNY15 billion to newly build highway of 103 kilometres and upgrade 180 kilometres.
The 636-kilometre G205 will CNY16.5 billion to upgrade 309 kilometre of highway, including 286 kilometres of class I and 23 kilometres of class II. The project will be completed by 2014.
